Costa Rica for the location, as well as being a haven of natural beauty, has a number of natural and physical characteristics conducive to navigate throughout the year. However, it is one of the most expensive countries in Central and South America, with the positive aspect is that the good quality hotels and car hire is relatively easy and safe.

Stand Up Paddle SUP also known as water sports are more popular and modern is rooted in the Hawaiian Islands. It was the early 1960s, the Beach Boys of Waikiki stand on their long boards, paddle and rowing for photos for tourists learning to surf.
The sport benefits athletes with a strong background. Stand Up Paddle or Suping became very popular on warm beaches such as Costa Rica and is gaining in popularity as celebrities are sampling the sport and cross-over athletes are training with SUP. SUP have been seen in the world from anywhere with easy access to the warm waters and safe in the world of surfing queues. Another reason for the rise in popularity of stand up paddleboarding is that, unlike surfing, Stand Up Paddleboarding is very easy to learn and pratice. In one hour you can become very comfortable in the water and paddle your board. Stand up paddleboarding is also more popular among women due to its low center of gravity, women are more often skilled at paddleboarding than men.
